Lara Logan
Lara Logan, born 29 March 1971 was an South African radio and television journalist and war reporter. She worked as a CBS News journalist from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes executive Producer Jeff Fager called her factually inaccurate and politcally biased piece regarding the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack "the greatest mistake on my 10-year-old watch." She was a member of Sinclair Broadcast Group (a conservative media group) in the year 2019. 4] She joined Fox Nation, a subscription streaming platform owned by Fox News, in January 2020. She stated she was "dumped” by the network in March 2022. Logan was a news reporter for the Sunday Tribune in Durban, during her studies (1988-1989), and then at the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992, she joined Reuters Television Africa as a senior producer. After four years she decided to venture into freelance journalism. She was assigned as an editor/reporter, reporter and editor/producer at Fox/SKY, Fox/SKY and CBS News, ABC News (in London), NBC and the European Broadcasting Union. CNN employed her to write on events such as the 1998 United States Embassy bombings in Nairobi, Tanzania and the conflict in Northern Ireland.
